How much does a tattoo cost?

1

The cost of a tattoo depends on the size, placement, style, level of detail, and the amount of time required to complete the piece. Every tattoo is unique, so pricing is discussed after reviewing your idea and requirements. Contact me with your concept for a quote.

How should I prepare for my tattoo session?

3

Make sure you arrive well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten a good meal before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area and avoid alcohol before your session. Bringing water and snacks is also recommended for longer appointments.

Can I swim after getting a tattoo?

Most tattoos take around 2–4 weeks for the surface of the skin to heal, although complete healing beneath the skin can take several months. Following the aftercare instructions provided will help your tattoo heal properly and maintain its quality.

Booking times vary depending on availability. For larger projects or specific dates, it is recommended to book as early as possible. Shorter appointments may have earlier availability depending on my schedule.

Yes, you can have your own artwork or ideas as inspiration. I can discuss how the design may need to be adjusted to work well as a tattoo.

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. This covers the time spent preparing your design and reserving your booking date. Deposit details and policies will be provided during the booking process.

Pain levels vary from person to person and depend on the placement, size, and length of the session. Most clients describe the sensation as uncomfortable rather than unbearable. Taking breaks when needed can help make the experience more comfortable.

Numbing cream can be discussed before your appointment. Some products may affect how the skin behaves during tattooing, so it’s important to check with me before using anything.

Avoid swimming pools, oceans, spas, and baths while your tattoo is healing. Submerging a fresh tattoo can increase the risk of irritation and infection.

I am government licensed and have completed professional tattoo training with hands-on experience, giving me the skills and knowledge required to provide safe, high-quality tattoo services. My training has included essential areas such as tattoo techniques, client care, hygiene, and infection control practices.

I maintain strict infection control standards to ensure a safe and professional tattooing environment for every client. All tattoo procedures are carried out using sterile, single-use needles and professional hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety requirements. Maintaining a clean, safe, and controlled environment is a priority throughout every stage of the tattoo process.

In many cases, scars can be tattooed, but this depends on the age, texture, and condition of the scar. A consultation is recommended to assess what approach will work best. Please include this in your notes with your contact form.

If you are pregnant, sorry, I cannot tattoo you, but I am happy to discuss future ideas. I can tattoo people who are breastfeeding, you will just need to circle “yes” to breastfeeding on your consent form.
